CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Licensed Surveyor to join our Infrastructure - Transportation & Survey Team at our office in Duluth, GA.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's comprehensive approach to survey work is the hallmark of a successful project. We are focused on the use of advanced measurement technology to improve our process and results. Our robust quality assurance/quality control processes result in accurate and precise work.

The Licensed Surveyor is responsible for the coordination with internal and/or external clients regarding various survey projects as well as QA/QC functions. This is a management level position that requires oversight responsibility of staff members and projects.

This individual is responsible for working with Project Team Leader and Business Practice Leader to develop the scope of services required for survey task requests; estimating the cost and schedule requirements for the scope of work; obtaining approvals; and monitoring the delivery of services as well as QA/QC functions through the completion of the project.

The Licensed Surveyor will support the development of qualification materials to support project pursuits. Additionally, the professional in this role will direct and participate in the preparation of survey deliverables, communicating with clients to ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with the client needs.

REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred (required if not professionally licensed)
  • Minimum of 10 years' related experience required
  • Valid US Driver's license required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office required
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D required; knowledge of MicroStation software a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Ability to travel short-term preferred
