The Opportunity:

Manager Product Planning

To continually strengthen its base and support its growth in the US, LG Electronics is extending its Research and Innovation capabilities. We are seeking a Manager Product Development to join our R&D Center located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Manager Product Planning needs understanding of the technology of HVAC equipment especially in DFS, VRF, Unitary, water heating or chiller products. The product planner should be passionate, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knows how to manage ambiguous situations, work effectively with diverse teams, thrive under pressure, and execute such a way as to bring the best out of the people whom they work even across the regions.

What You'll Do:* Gather project requirements from multiple stakeholders for front end of NPI process.* Define project scope and prioritize development and delivery.* Determine, gather and manage tight resources for successful program.* Track project progress using Microsoft Project or equivalent program for successful product launch.* Closely work and coordinate with HQ team in Korea and define market strategy for US market penetration by product line ups for HVAC related products such as unitary or chiller market.* Use appropriate verification techniques to manage dynamic scope changes with given schedule and time.* Report and resolve escalating issues with approvals from the stakeholders.* Perform risk management to minimize project risks for schedule, time and cost.* Ability to work in multi-cultural environment and within cross-functional teams, including participation in evening conference meetings occasionally.

Required Skills* Minimum of 7+ years of product development work experience in HVAC industry with NPI gated process related to water heating or chiller equipment is a plus.* Preferred PMP Certification.* Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering or business.* Ability to work and travel domestic and international regions.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* High organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Base Salary 92,000- 120,000

In addition to the above, we believe that pay transparency is a key part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We consider geographic pay differentials in final offers.
