What You'll Do

The Senior Manager, Marketing will be responsible for developing marketing strategy and executing marketing programs in support of business development goals and to communicate the Americold brand platform.

    Marketing strategy and execution:
    • In collaboration with the director, communications team, and agency partners, develop annual marketing strategy, content plan, and measurement plan in support of business objectives
    • Outline approach to conducting periodic reviews of the plan and recommending adjustments
    • Lead the relationship with content agency and other external partners (video production, freelancers, etc.) to execute the marketing plan
    • Own the execution of the brand- and sector-focused campaigns and provide leadership support to the marketing manager and events marketing manager on other portions of the campaign (occupancy, tradeshow support)
  • High profile leadership and customer events:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of special events (grand openings, groundbreakings, customer events) in collaboration with events marketing manager and communications team
    • As part of brand campaign, communicate milestones associated with new builds that help to tell our brand story
  • Proposal leadership:
    • Support the proposal manager in the development of new business proposals
    • Oversee the relationship with business development, provide support in managing through issues/priorities, and ensure proposals are delivered on time and in line with expectations
  • Other duties as assigned: include but not limited to support corporate merchandise planning, holiday cards/gifts, and team building activities

What Experience You Need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications
  • Strong project management skills
  • Technical/software skills: MS Office suite, including Teams, advanced knowledge of presentation programs (ie: PowerPoint, Google slides)
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

What Could Set You Apart
  • MBA
  • Experience in a B2B or corporate marketing role within a supply chain or logistics environment
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing measurement
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and directing the work of marketing/PR agencies
