Job Description

Infor Hospitality Implementation Consultants are an integral part of the services team and play a key role in delivering consulting services for the implementation of Infor Hospitality Solutions. The Infor Sales & Event Management Consultant will implement and train the Infor Sales & Event Management Solution (previously ReServe Cloud). The initial focus will be on one strategic, enterprise venue-management customer centered on convention centers, arenas, stadiums, and theaters. SCS Consultants consult with the customer to appropriately configure the SCS software, deliver remote training sessions, travel to customer sites to delivery onsite training, and assist customers in the planning and adoption of the SCS software. Consultant will work remotely when not traveling to customer sites.


A Day in the Life typically includes:

  • Focuses on a strategic, enterprise venue management implementations which includes convention centers, arenas, stadiums and theaters.
  • Manages customer onboarding implementations from initial consultation through final delivery. Provides proactive follow-up, ensuring excellent customer communication and service while delivering high-quality implementations on schedule and within budget.
  • Consults with customers and makes recommendations on Infor Sales & Event Management configuration to meet business needs and processes. Using a high degree of insight and analytical skill, recommends solutions to challenges and provides risk assessments.
  • Travels to customer locations and conducts onsite training sessions to individuals and groups with a strong focus on promoting continued success. Once trained, the travel may be 50% during this enterprise customer project. Travel could reduce to 25% in the future.
  • Conducts remote training sessions, Q&A sessions, and follow-up sessions for customers.
  • Follows pre-determined training plans or creates unique training plans for customers.
  • In collaboration with services manager, project manager and other consultants, contributes to larger implementations taking on the role that is required to successfully implement the project (consultant, project manager, trainer, configuration specialist).
  • Efficiently completes assigned Infor Sales & Event Management configurations on schedule with accuracy and attention to detail including simple data entry to complex configuration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Hospitality industry.
  • Experience with hospitality software solutions in the areas of sales and catering, event planning & management, or venue management.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various levels of an organization.
  • Able to travel on a regular basis, up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior knowledge and experience with the Infor Sales & Event solution (previously ReServe Cloud).
  • Experience in consulting, remote and onsite training and/or implementing software applications.
  • Previous event management experience, specifically working in/with convention centers.
  • Bachelor's Degree, certification, or training in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional work experience.
