YOU WILL:

  • Director, Business Architect positions offered by The North Highland Company (Atlanta, GA).

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and the development of data strategies and roadmaps including seeing these through to delivery on data and analytics work using modern data platforms and analytical techniques.

  • Lead and self-direct and manage priorities; ability to handle issues that are not well-defined and/or conflict with available information; ability to successfully navigate ambiguity to resolution.

  • Manage complicated data projects including leading teams and driving business development.

  • Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, and best practices including prototyping new architecture methods, tools and products that might provide future value to our clients.

  • Be a thought leader by contributing to blog postings or white papers.

  • Be part of the global thought leadership team on agile, digital transformation, cloud analytics, and modern data & analytics concepts.


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in information systems, statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered and 8 years of experience performing data analytics across a variety of industries, business functions and technologies.

  • Also requires 8 years of experience using scripting programming languages for data; developing in SQL on RDBMS platforms; applying data movement ETL technologies; and gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.

  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated.

  • Requires 5 years of experience: collaborating with and presenting to cross functional teams and client senior management; and using data visualization tools.

  • Requires 2 years of experience conducting pre-sales consulting with external customers. Up to 40% domestic travel required.

  • Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA, but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Please apply online at:
