As a practitioner turned business development specialist, you can quickly assess client needs to knit together skills across Cognizant and provide winning human-centered design solutions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

-Lead organizational business development activities from opportunity identification to sold work

-Act as a trusted client partner and human-centered design expert, relied on for strategic points of view to drive experience-related thought leadership in Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Energy & Utilities.

-Actively manage a broad network of stakeholders across the client organization, and within Digital Experience and Cognizant

-Independently partner with key internal points of contact across the Cognizant (e.g., AI and Advanced Analytics, Digital Engineering, Process Automation, Sales and Account teams) to weave capabilities together across a range of project types and own the end-to-end creation of winning proposals.

-Design and facilitate successful presentations, webinars, and workshops for senior executive level clients

-Develop strong relationship with clients to understand and scope digital experience challenges

-Understand and incorporate complex business, strategic, and technical requirements into engagement outcomes

-Play an influencing role to ensure Idea Couture in North America and Cognizant Digital Experience are top of mind partners both internally and externally

-Guide large and high complexity project engagements for Fortune 500 clients across projects in the Manufacturing, Logistics & Transportation, Energy & Utilities industries.

What you'll need:

-Undergraduate or graduate degree in service design, strategic design, innovation strategy, business administration, or a related field

-8-10 years of experience in professional services roles, increasing in the level of experience and having worked across business units/functions/practices in a large global organization.

-Digital agency experience or MBA is considered a strong asset

-Proven ability to critique, analyze, and elevate narratives, strategies, and ideas

-Expert understanding of cross-functional resources and building effective teams

-Expertise in storytelling and narrative crafting to capture the attention of prospective clients and internal stakeholders

-Strong client leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to command and guide a room of C-level executives at Fortune 500 organizations

Broad strategy and/or design experience spanning products, services, processes, and systems.

-Proficient in creating personas, design principles, experience maps, ecosystem maps, user journeys, service blueprints, and rapid prototyping methods

-Conversant in the principles and practices of human-centered design and design thinking, including qualitative research methods (e.g., in-context interviewing)

-Would expect up to 25% travel as required.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The job posting will receive applications until 5/21/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $128,000 and $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
