JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Foundation Communications is responsible for initiating and implementing marketing and communications needs of the Foundation and reports to the Foundation President.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement annual communications strategies that support all functions of the Grady Health Foundation and promote giving, engagement, and support for Grady Health System.

Write and produce materials including but not limited to newsletters, annual reports, presentations, gift acknowledgments, and fundraising materials.

Maintain the Grady Foundation website and social media channels.

Write talking points and remarks for as needed for presentations and events.

Manage third-party vendors such as graphic designers, printers, photographers, and consultants brought in to manage projects.

Ensure that all communications are consistent with the brand, values, and goals of Grady Health System.

Represent Grady at external events as needed.

Serve as liaison with the Grady Health System marketing and communications team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

* Three (3) or more years of experience in communications or marketing.

* Prior experience in fundraising and healthcare preferred.

* Experience examining constituent segments and tailoring messaging to various segments.

* Strategic thinker who is results-oriented.

* Exceptional writing and editing skills.

* Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

* Familiarity with managing a website and social media channels.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite as well as Adobe Creative Suite

* Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and deliver the highest level of client service and response.

* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the Foundation and across GMHS.

* Positive attitude and professional, donor-facing demeanor.

* Passion for the mission of Grady.
