JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Annual Programs, is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive annual giving program focused on donor retention and growth. The Manager reports to the Director, Annual Programs, and works closely with the Communications Manager and other team members to achieve success.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the development and implementation of a comprehensive, goal-driven annual giving program with the goal of retaining current donors, increasing the size of current donor gifts, and attracting new donors for Grady.

Management of an annual direct response program to include at least three campaigns annually using a multi-channel communication strategy.

Management of strategic giving programs and opportunities targeting Grady employees, professionals who trained at Grady, individuals born at Grady, and Grady vendors.

Management of an effective grateful patient giving program.

Management of event-related fundraising functions including timelines, benefit levels, and prospect lists a well as sponsor management and post-event stewardship functions.

Assist third parties with events raising money on Grady's behalf.

Maintain a portfolio of annual giving donors in the $1,000 to $9,999 giving range.

Represent the Foundation externally as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in fundraising.
  • Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Experience with annual giving and marketing preferred.
  • Successful track record of working with donor data and trends to develop successful solicitation segments.
  • Strategic thinker who is results-oriented.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of donor database systems; experience using Raiser's Edge/NXT or similar development database programs.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and deliver the highest level of client service and response.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the Foundation and across GMHS.
  • Positive attitude and professional, donor-facing demeanor.
  • Passion for the mission of Grady.
