About the Role


We are seeking a Subcontracts Administrator responsible for supporting subcontract operational activities for SGT and its division companies. This role requires the ability to support multiple customers and can adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a rapid-paced environment.


This is a fully remote role that can be based in Atlanta, GA or anywhere in the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Assists with reviewing and issuing a wide variety of standard and non-standard business documents including subcontracts, modifications, teaming agreements, administrative agreements, intercompany agreements, and non-disclosure agreements with clients, partner companies and vendors.
  • Reviews client-issued Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQ) for subcontractor requirements, issues RFPs to teammates, evaluates subcontractor proposal components, and provides related input for business and technical proposal volumes.
  • Analyzes subcontract terms and conditions, FAR/DFARS and other agency supplements to determine compliance.
  • Provides post-award support ensuring timely processing of subcontract requisitions and documentation required for Purchase Orders.
  • Establishes and maintains accurate tracking records and provides periodic reporting, including expiration notices, status of pending agreements, and compliance with insurance provisions.
  • Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and maintains library of files in accordance with company processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for business registration and licensing compliance with state and federal agencies.
  • Assists in maintaining company reporting requirements and standing in government systems (SAM.gov, GSA, and SBA).
  • Works cross-functionally with teams, including Business Development, Program Management, Finance & Accounting, and Operations.
  • Manages the shared contracts email box and other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements


Qualifications

  • Organized and detail-oriented self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills who can work with a minimum of supervision. Communicates clearly and concisely with co-workers and team members.
  • Highest level of professionalism and integrity while dealing with a wide range of customers.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills and creativity necessary to define specific contractual requirements and reach mutual agreement between the company and counterparties.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and to prioritize assignments based on internal customer needs.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of federal government procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS, Agency Supplementals and Uniform Commercial Code).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel); SharePoint experience a plus.
  • Experience with drafting, editing, and negotiating subcontract documents.
  • Knowledge of government databases and systems, business licensing and registration requirements, industry practices, techniques, and skills.
  • Previous experience working for an 8(a) small business preferred.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant contract experience or equivalent is required.
  • Two years government procurement experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
