Overview

AmTrust North America Claims is looking for an experienced data and reporting thought partner and motivated self-starter to lead a team of local and remote resources to deliver on several high impact and high visibility strategic priorities. This role will be on a hybrid schedule in an AmTrust location.

This position will report to the VP, Claims Reporting & Analytics and will support the North American Claims Organization by providing data and reporting to drive operational excellence across the Claims organization. The right candidate will bring a balance of leadership, technical expertise, vision, creativity and execution to the table.

Responsibilities
    Recruit, lead and develop a team of reporting analysts
  • Identify, synthesize and recommend a sustainable path for providing actionable information to drive improvement within Claims
  • Partner with IT, Data Governance & Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to maximize current architecture and become the Claims data SME for all future data project needs
  • Establish a self-service suite of reporting to inform claims leaders on operational KPI's including dashboards, scorecards and reports utilizing visualization and other data management tools
  • Support Claims leadership team with ad-hoc reporting requests with mindfulness to driven outcomes
  • Act as key point of contact and determine appropriate triage of work to external data & reporting consultants
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree ideal
  • 7+ years of progressively increasing experience within the financial services, insurance, consulting or other similar industry
  • 5+ years of previous experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos or Business Objects
  • 2+ years previous management experience
  • Ability to read and write SQL
  • Experience in P&C Claims preferred by not required
  • Master's Degree and/or CPCU preferred but not required
  • Up to 25% travel
