Account Manager - Fire Protection Sales
JOB SUMMARY
ORR Protection is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Fire Protection Monitoring Account Manager. Ideally located in or around Atlanta, GA, this position works in a 'hybrid first' environment, and will largely work from a home office. In this role, you will be responsible for selling fire protection monitoring services to both new and existing clients to ORR. This effort will involve identifying, pursuing, qualifying, and closing potential clients while identifying and providing cost effective solutions. This is a remote reporting, work-from-home position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
  • Identify and target potential customers who could benefit from fire protection monitoring services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to upsell fire protection monitoring services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of ORR Protection's monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies to generate leads.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation for new customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent education, required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in fire alarm/suppression or related industry, required;
    • Related industries would include construction, building control, and other services within mission-critical environments.
  • Experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM software, preferred.
  • Proven track record of being successful in elements of a consultative sales role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate in a Google Suite or Microsoft office environment (i.e. Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Google mail / Outlook).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Cost accounting/ budgeting skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems and monitoring technologies is a plus.
  • Available for approximately 25% travel.
