Cox Automotive is hiring a Supervisor, Accounts Payable.

The Supervisor, Accounts Payable (AP), is a critical position that oversees the delivery and support for Payment Processing, POC between EAP and P&P, Supplier Maintenance, Lease Administration, and Issue Resolution/Exception Handling. This position reports directly to the Sr Manager of Accounts Payable Corporate and will be responsible for enabling a high-performance culture within the Enterprise Finance & Accounting (EF&A) Accounts Payable functions. This position will also help to meet Cox Automotive' s goals by coordinating objectives, collaborating with business stakeholders, and aligning appropriate resources.

The Supervisor is responsible for supporting Accounts Payable operations across all divisions encompassing AP transactional processing, AP Month End close, AP policy and procedures and compliance with and ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls. Additionally, this position is responsible for proactive engagement with stakeholders throughout the business to support decisions and provide guidance regarding financial and accounting implications of business activities/decisions. The Supervisor will lead the daily operational performance for a team of ~5-7 professionals, including adherence to Cox Automotive policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a centralized Accounts Payable team with a staff 5-7 AP Specialists
  • Oversee Celonis application for exception handling
  • Lead daily LDM meetings
  • Assist in month end close processes
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure all AP processes such as Invoicing, Payments, and Vendor Master Data Management are completed timely and accurately while in compliance with policy and regulations.
  • Manage 3rd party AP system applications.
  • Monitor and manage team's performance against benchmarks, targets, quality and reliability
  • Lead current and future AP system integration projects.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of implementing and managing daily Accounts Payable operations. A candidate may also have a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience, a Master's Degree with 1+ year of experience or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
  • Experience with implementing and managing daily operational service levels
  • Proven track record in successfully leading high performing teams with tight deadlines and improving efficiencies
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Demonstrated communication capabilities with key stakeholders


USD 64,200.00 - 96,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
