Cox Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a OneStream Principal Solution Architect to join our team! The OneStream Principal Solution Architect will serve as a critical technical thought leader for the newly formed, cross-division Cox Finance Enablement COE, learning Cox divisions' unique financial architectures, building relationships and trust across business and technical partners, solving for disparate business problems & priorities, and continuously improving our OneStream design and implementations across the CPM maturity curve.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Design a comprehensive infrastructure framework for the OneStream financial application, considering scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous evaluation and improvement of OneStream's value/maturity across Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, and Cox Automotive.
  • Collaborate with, understand, and influence Finance & Accounting business leadership vision and priorities to drive Cox Finance Enablement COE roadmap, OneStream cross-division strategic/platform roadmap, and division Financial Systems/Enablement roadmaps across interdependencies including Oracle, Blackline, OneStream, Hyperion, Workday, and custom solutions- Build bottom-up, horizontal, and top-down relationships and become a trusted advisor and thought leader across Accounting, Finance, Tax & Treasury.
  • Build strong partnerships with Technology across the divisions.
  • Lead/contribute to strategic planning, focusing on feasibility and identifying quick wins.
  • Seeks a deep understanding of business what/why and technical constraints/guardrails to lead the OneStream platform and solution designs.
  • Manage OneStream solution/implementation quality and testing, i.e., maximize simplicity and scalability for complex business solutions.
  • Roll up sleeves to develop and demonstrate OneStream proof of concepts as required for new approaches to optimize performance.
  • Guide the development of technical solutions by facilitating OneStream solution design/architecture reviews and garnering cross-division solution alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Enablement PMO to build and maintain OneStream roadmaps, solution implementation plans, and/or Agile backlogs.
  • Lead and align technical liaisons across divisions and org levels on OneStream solution designs while actively listening for risks and impediments requiring further attention, solutions, and change cultivation; engage 3rd party technical experts as required.
  • Lead the development/maturity of the Finance OneStream COE technical governance framework, including the definition of standards, policies, principles, and procedures that guide our OneStream decisions and maximize the value of the technology and our integrations.
  • Mature OneStream technical standards/policies, coach team members on the value of adherence, and ensure compliance with controls.
  • Provide opportunities for cross-team/cross-division learning.


Skills & Competencies

Demonstrated success/track record in:

  • Being self-driven, independent, and eternally curious, an insatiable desire to drive tangible value.
  • Managing large, complex, cross-organization architectures across multiple parallel projects/programs.
  • Driving enterprise performance management technical solution architecture, including OneStream tool and data design.
  • Ability to collaborate with non-technical partners, including distilling underlying business needs (what/why vs. how), communicating ability for solutions to meet business needs, and arriving at creative solutions.
  • Creating defendable estimates across the project lifecycle, delivering on time, within budget, and within expectations of quality.
  • Remaining current on technical architecture and EPM/CPM leading practices and methodologies.
  • Enabling business value, managing risks, and delivering commitments.
  • Coordinating with other architects/technical leads to ensure a cohesive solution that meets long-term and immediate business needs/priorities.
  • Quickly understanding scope, pros/cons, and organizations to solution outcomes.


Education & Experience

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field along with 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant overall experience; or a Ph.D. and 5 years of relevant overall experience; or 14 years of overall relevant experience without a college degree.
  • 10+ years of diverse technical/architecture experience, including solution development lifecycle/Agile experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying tools, data, and infrastructure solutions.
  • 6+ years in an EPM/CPM technical role.
  • 3+ years of OneStream experience.


Preferred:

  • OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) - Lead Architect.
  • Hands-on architecture design/implementation experience across OneStream, Hyperion, Oracle, and Workday.


USD 156,200.00 - 260,400.00

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $156,200.00 - $260,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
