The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team, with a primary focus on winning net-new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, and fostering strong relationships with channel partners to help expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.

What You'll Do as Account Executive:

  • Focus on net-new business acquisition and exceed the assigned sales quota of $750k annually.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their unique cybersecurity needs and aligning them with the right solutions within Recorded Future's portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking with channel partners.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to identify and pursue joint sales opportunities, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Conduct thorough product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Recorded Future's solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals with net-new customers.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position Recorded Future's solutions in new customer markets.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience for net-new clients.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to sales leadership on progress toward net-new business goals.

What You'll Bring as Account Executive:

  • 4+ years of relevant selling experience
  • Operational and Sales Acumen:Proficient in territory planning and understanding of the commercial market. Skilled at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Communication and Continuous Discovery: Skilled in articulating product solutions and active listening. Proficient in using discovery techniques to understand customer challenges.
  • Strategic Execution & Orchestration: Adept at employing MEDDIC for deal qualification. Understanding nuances of the sales process for effective positioning.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skilled in utilizing executive involvement and internal resources in the sales process. Proficient in developing and executing focused closing plans.
  • Objection Handling: Confident in using probing questions to uncover root causes of objections and setting effective follow-up actions to maintain deal momentum.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the cybersecurity sector, including competitor awareness and market trends.
