Job Description

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years' experience developing in an agile environment. Specifically, the ability to define, scope, and complete user stories to effectively and consistently deliver MVP functionality
  • 1-2 years' experience developing automated forms and workflows using tools such as Servicenow, SharePoint, or other low/no-code enterprise Service Management or Workflow Management platform
  • 1-2 years' experience with developing in a Microsoft SQL Server database environment, including:
  • Ability to understand how business processes impact software requirements and translate that understanding into user friendly software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical customers at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and consistently track projects to completion, staying within the agreed scope
  • High integrity and experience with handling sensitive data, such as PII and other HR-related information
  • Experience using software configuration/change management systems such as Atlassian/Jira/BitBucket in a team environment

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with SharePoint development and/or MS Teams integration.
  • Experience developing Microsoft cloud-based applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience maintaining custom web applications in Blazor, .NET, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
  • Experience developing software for a secure environment
  • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Experience with design and development in DNN or similar content management platforms

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with internal customers and IT Business Analysts to define software requirements based on end goals and customer needs
  • Perform software design, development, and maintenance of existing applications
  • Install and maintain software and system components required for development
  • Implement and maintain software build processes and configuration management
  • Anticipate potential issues and test software to ensure consistent quality
  • Document system interfaces and architecture for internal IT reference
  • Create end user documentation as needed
  • Recommend improvements to software components and system architecture
  • Provide technical support and administration of application software
  • Perform business process analysis and other tasks as assigned
