Responsibilities

We are currently hiring PRN Resident Assistants to provide oversight and guidance to our patient population during the hours they are not in treatment. This position will require availability for evenings, overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

Position Summary:

Maintains milieu according to program schedule

Monitors and provides care for consumers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures program schedule is maintained.

Facilitates compliance of all program rules and guidelines.

Responsible for safety and well-being of all patients living within the residences.

Provides assistance with residence emergencies, crisis intervention, interpersonal conflicts, medical and psychiatric emergencies accidents, chemical relapse and family emergencies, messages, community questions and inquires by channeling all situations

Supports and assists in the structuring of all patient activities, assignments and tasks.

Makes rounds of apartments as directed and reports any problems to the Program Supervisor or appropriate contact as outlined in the policies and procedures

Insures cleanliness and sanitation of patient's apartment.

Transportation of patients, to and from specific locations as required.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year experience working with dually diagnosed individuals preferred.

Valid GA driver's license is required for this position

CPR certification (or willing to accept training)
