Will assist service line team in the production of existing service line packages monthly by pulling and analyzing volume and financial data

Conduct budget variance analyses for team

Ad-hoc financial projects including capacity studies, break-even analyses and P&Ls

Will eventually kick off 1-2 new service lines with finance, become that service line's connection to finance and review regularly financial related data with them.

  • Look for opportunities to enhance revenue/reduce expenses/consistency across system
  • Help with operating and capital budgets if service line needs assistance
  • Prepare and present financial packages for review
  • Updates the findings list for team

Background Preferences:

Financial background - P&Ls - understand margins and what impacts, strong financial analytics, any budget or modeling experience a plus

Good at researching, digging into detailed data pulls

Must be professional and strong presenter - will meet regularly to present to service line directors throughout system

Healthcare and SQL plus, but not required

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  1. S. degree in Business or Health Administration.
  2. Two (2) years of decision support or health care finance experience.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of computers and micro computer applications.
  4. Skills in using Microsoft Office products; intermediate level ability with Excel & Access applications.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Demonstrated communication skills in written, reports and oral formats.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  1. Master's in Business Administration or Health Administration.
  2. Designation as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  3. Strong knowledge of and experience with databases using SQL or other advance system languages. Adept at creating and managing complex queries.
