The Salesforce marketing team is seeking an SEO authority with a strong business mindset to boost our global marketing pipeline through organic web channels.In this role, you'll collaborate with the SEO team to execute annual and quarterly web-organic strategies and partner with Web, Content Marketing, and Campaigns teams for successful implementation. Your data-driven approach will drive resources toward increasing traffic, improving conversion rates, and generating MQLs through organic web channels.The ideal candidate has a background in B2B and tech-focused content marketing and SEO, with expertise in lead generation. You possess a deep understanding of SEO and the B2B lead funnel, and you excel at enhancing business processes through frameworks, streamlined processes, and automation where needed.Responsibilities
  • Conduct keyword research to identify valuable search terms and trends, and develop a comprehensive keyword strategy for content optimization.
  • Work with the SEO team to design and implement process improvements that increase both productivity and business impact
  • Provide recommendations and optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Deliver against the annual SEO roadmap and provide progress reports
  • Work multi-functionally with Content Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, Web Marketing, Web Dev, PR and Product Teams to deliver on strategic roadmap
  • Oversee day-to-day tactics that increase discoverability and improve keyword ranking, as measured by the business metrics of traffic and lead production
  • Work with Analytics and Digital Marketing teams to identify and expose content gaps, using data to influence content production and localization roadmaps
  • Stay ahead of on SEO trends and guide the organization through changes to the algorithm and SEO standard processes
  • Leverage Brightedge, Google Analytics, Tableau and Salesforce for data analysis and insights generation
Qualifications
  • Strong domain knowledge within SEO (2-5 years experience)
  • Passion for driving organic growth
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong partnership/collaboration proclivity
  • Familiarity with technical audiences, international SEO and the B2B SaaS model
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz) to track, analyze, and interpret data to make data-driven decisions and optimizations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to use data and industry insights to make strategic decisions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
