The role of the Manager, Supplier Business Continuity is essential in ensuring adherence to industry standards, safeguarding Salesforce against risks arising from external supply chain, and promoting business continuity compliance according to Salesforce Supplier Standards. This position involves supervising the implementation and upkeep of our Supplier Business Continuity risk assessment process, analyzing supplier risks, identifying gaps in business continuity, and presenting the findings effectively to relevant partners.

Your Impact:

• Collaborate with partners to establish an efficient communication process related to supplier risk, business resilience, and departmental requirements.

• Work closely with teams (i.e. the Business Resilience Team) to leverage standard operating procedure(s) for monitoring and tracking supplier business continuity programs.

• Develop comprehensive reports that will include discovered insights, assessments, and business impact data

  • Incorporate dashboards into the reporting process (i.e.leveraging Tableau or other tools).

• Maintain knowledge of current processes to leverage opportunities for continuous improvement, such as automation.

• Lead the engagement with suppliers to understand their Business Continuity Planning capability:

  • Management of the Supplier Business Continuity Capability processes

  • Lead the tracking & reporting of Supplier Business Continuity Assessment forms

  • Monitor and suggest mitigation recommendations for minimizing business impact from the gaps in the supplier's BC capability

  • Work with the Business Resilience Team to ensure that critical supplier findings are reported to the relevant business as they relate to the BCM Program

• Develop programs and processes that lead to an understanding of the supplier risk management strategy to:

  • Ensure compliance with policies and standard operating procedure

  • Manage the facilitation, tracking & reporting of identified Supplier Risks

  • Identify and communicate supply chain and supplier risk management impacts to Salesforce

• Support risk oversight committee(s)

• Support Supplier Business Review(s)

• Support Supplier Risk and Criticality Segmentation process

• Provide support for various Supplier Governance and Compliance activities, as needed.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of proven experience managing sophisticated projects in large organizations with multiple partners

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Experience in strategic and tactical aspects of Sourcing and Business Continuity methodology for large organizations

• Strong executive presence and ability to influence and align with business partners

• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and reporting capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity effectively.

• Knowledge of policy, standards, and plan development.

Experience Desired

• Professional designations in Business Continuity (ABCP, CBCP, CBCA, CBCI).

• Knowledge of Procurement processes

• Process excellence experience, six-sigma certification

• Experience crafting, leading, or auditing Business Continuity Programs.

• Strong proven experience in standard methodologies, KPIs, and tooling/technology and service/data suppliers

• Familiarity with Google business applications and collaboration tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

• Experience working with security frameworks such as ISO 22318, 22301, 27001, SOC 2, or NIST RMF standards in an operational IT environment.
