Job Description

Georgia-Pacific Financial Reporting team is seeking a Manager of Analysis to support the supply chain organization within our Consumer Products division.

Location: This role is based at our Corporate HQ in Downtown Atlanta, GA. This role will be a hybrid of in office with flexibility to work remotely with the expectation of being in office more than not. This is a visible role and fostering relationships and collaborating with teams across the company will be key to your success. We are seeking local applicants, or candidates that are willing to relocate to the area.

In this individual contributor role, the Manager of Analysis reports directly to the Senior Director of Transformation & Reporting.

What You Will Do

Provide Financial support for the Supply Chain Organization

  • Monitor cost and metrics related to all Supply Chain Areas, including Transportation, Warehousing and related planning and deployment.
  • Track and Report monthly Results tied to the P&L, providing information and insights to Supply Chain leadership and Business Partners.
  • Lead activities related to planning and tracking Financial impacts of Supply Chain Programs
  • Lead the planning and forecasting processes for supply chain costs, driving alignment with leadership.
  • Maintain long term cost trends to provide perspective to leadership.

Decision Support for Supply Chain Optimization Activities

  • Support decision making by driving insights from monthly cost and program tracking.
  • Connect metric performance to financial performance to highlight changes and opportunities for improvement.

Provide Cost Analysis support for the Warehouse Operations Team

  • Track cost center data by warehouse, identifying issues.
  • Bridge operational impacts and metrics to P&L financials, by incorporating important data such as headcount tracking and space utilization.

Advance the Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Values


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Career experience in a financial analysis, supply chain, operations finance, or related role(s) that demonstrates understanding and application of financial concepts, cost analysis, KPI tracking, marginal analysis, variance analysis and other valuation metrics.
  • You are a strong economic and strategic thinker and have the confidence and analytical capability to develop a point of view, frame and evaluate complex problems, and provide decision support.
  • You communicate well across a matrix delivery model; you keep stakeholders informed and engaged; you build trusted and respected relationships.
  • You are transformation focused and contribution motivated; you embrace change and seek to bridge gaps and solve problems; you are a driver of company initiatives..
  • Systems and Tools savvy: You have experience sourcing large volumes of data from multiple systems and an advanced ability to model and interpret data.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Experience using Microsoft Tools/Microsoft 365, including MS Excel for statistical modeling, forecasting, graphs, charts, pivots and macros.
  • Experience creating dashboards and KPI's using various analysis/data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik, SAP)
  • Experience in the Manufacturing sector.
