Job Description

Versar Global Solutions is currently looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant for a full-time opportunity at the Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling all Human Resource and Payroll responsibilities for the Fuel Facility and administrative duties for the General & Fuel Facility Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties for the General Manager and Fuel Facility Manager.
  • Assist Fuel Facility Manager, in reference to administrative duties.
  • Human Resources functions including but not limited to processing new employees, Airport I.D. badge and Customs badge processing, handle employee insurance, workers' compensation, and processing of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Upload and process invoicing as directed.
  • Perform quarterly attendance review for all employees and issue disciplinary letters when necessary.
  • Perform a monthly review of motor vehicle records to ensure drivers have a valid state license.
  • Assist in the preparation of manuals, maintain, and update as required.
  • Solely responsible for document control of all operational and maintenance forms.
  • Maintain office supplies and post office duties.
  • Assist the Fuel Facility Manager with the presentation of monthly Safety meetings. Record and prepare minutes of meetings and keep on file.
  • Compiles and types statistical reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required and one (1) year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, FAA documentation, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.
