Technical Support Architect, CSO, TLM (Atlanta, GA)

Technical Support Architect, CSO, TLM positions offered by Manhattan Associates, Inc. (Atlanta, GA). Responsible for the initial stages of large/complex projects/enhancements by overseeing the gathering of requirements from the client and translating those into technical solutions. Manage multiple projects/enhancements in connection with the development, implementation and support processes for Manhattan's supply chain products & services. Manage development of detailed design specifications for multiple areas of a software system (or database). Manage the innovation and creation of improvements in software techniques. Exercise more senior discretion to determine optimal and efficient designs for multiple areas of the software system. Oversee or guide the troubleshooting of complex application issues and the design and development of solutions to such issues. Engage in customer conversations at a senior level to outline technical solutions, assist with design decisions and respond to technical inquiries/escalations. Project manage development and unit testing of assigned software areas following R&D development processes. Oversee the facilitation of technology and skills knowledge transfer. Be responsible for technical "sign off" for project transitions to customer support. Collaborate with technical leadership in R&D, Cloud Ops, Services and support teams in the development and deployment of key technical solutions and in investigating critical customer issues. Oversee schedules and budgets to ensure quality products and timely services. Make critical recommendations regarding new products and processes to senior management.

Requires a four-year bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field and 10 years of experience in the position offered or 10 years of experience developing, supporting or implementing application software. In lieu of a bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields and 10 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 7 years of experience as stated. Requires 6 years of experience performing technical design. Requires 5 years of experience working in a client-facing role. Up to 25% domestic travel required. Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
