Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Retail Spirits Sales Rep in Training. This person will Sells spirits, beer, fine wine and non-alcoholic products to package stores for our wholesale distributor. Sales Territory is Metro Atlanta

Salary is $19.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Learns and executes the seven Standards of Performance: Distributions, Position, Display, Pricing, Point-of-sale, Cold box, and Rotation in each account.

* Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.

* Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product.

* Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained.

* Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

* Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems.

* Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

* Identifies and respond to customers' needs.

* Maintains frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers and the general manager.

* Prepares and/or maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case quotas and dollar objectives and other administrative tasks as assigned.

* Executes sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards.

* Tracks progress of goals on a weekly basis.

* Participates in supplier work-withs.

* Continually maintains training and product knowledge.

* Delivers emergency orders when needed.

* Attends trade show.

* Conducts business according to local and state laws.

* Other duties as assigned by District Manager.

* Performs merchandising duties as needed or upon request.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have the ability to sustain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue. Must maintain valid driver's license.

Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge and Knowledge of Order Processing Systems
