Job Description
Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Project Leader, RevUp to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia . This is a hybrid position, and the schedule is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home.

The Role:

The RevUp Program team is looking for a skilled Project Leader for a high-impact, 2-year assignment.

What's RevUp?

The RevUp program is a multi-year initiative designed to revolutionize our approach to workforce management, scheduling, and hourly pay programs. This comprehensive program is structured around three key components:

  • Hourly Pay Program Modernization: Focuses on updating and enhancing our methods and systems for managing hourly pay, ensuring they are modern, efficient, and aligned with current best practices.
  • Tech Delivery of Pro Workforce Management: A state-of-the-art cloud solution set to replace our existing Kronos timekeeping system.
  • Operationalization of a Centralized Workforce Management & Scheduling Tool: This involves integrating various processes, tools and systems into a unified platform that is easy to manage and navigate.


This Project Leadership role offers the rare chance to lead a highly visible People Solutions and business facing Initiative. As a leader of one of these pivotal projects, you'll be at the helm of a large-scale, complex initiative, shaping the future of our hourly-worker experience. This role isn't just about managing a project; it's about leading a transformation.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Strategic Management

  • Lead and manage complex projects, coordinating with multiple teams and activities.
  • Oversee project workstream initiation, risk assessment, and the overall project lifecycle.
  • Define workstream scope, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; establish a clear work breakdown structure.
  • Develop project plans, assembling and coordinating across project core teams and subject matter experts.


Governance, Stakeholder, and Team Dynamics

  • Maintain project governance structures in alignment with the overarching program.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Present executive summaries and regular leadership updates.


Problem-Solving, Risk Management, and Change Management

  • Conduct comprehensive risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Address and resolve issues and problems, driving necessary changes.
  • Utilize Smartsheet and other project management tools for effective tracking and reporting.


Documentation, Reporting, and Communication

  • Ensure thorough documentation of project progress and decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and across organizational lines.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Experience with capability models, governance structures, stakeholder management, identification of dependencies and defining work breakdown structures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience leading diverse teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, specifically in enterprise transformation and HR/Business facing roles.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet project management.


USD 97,100.00 - 161,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
