The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies is a dynamic and inclusive community dedicated to excellence in research, teaching, and service. Our college, comprising five academic departments, serves approximately 2,100 students across a range of undergraduate and graduate programs. The Office of Academic Assistance, a key component of our college, supports nearly 650 undergraduate seniors and oversees the graduate admissions process, handling around 1,200 applications annually. Andrew Young School of Policy Studies is seeking (1) a dedicated and Administrative Specialist - Curriculum.

The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, adaptable, and self-reliant. This individual will have strong organizational skills, exceptional communication skills and a can-do attitude. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support to our academic units, especially at the graduate level.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Specialist - Curriculum are the following:

  • Advising support for academic policies, record-keeping, and curriculum compliance.
  • Managing graduate student curriculum petitions and ensuring graduation compliance.
  • Supporting the graduate admissions process, from application review to decision notification.
  • Maintaining accurate data across various platforms, including CRM and Banner.
  • Engaging in graduate recruitment efforts and providing marketing support for enrollment and advising.
  • Serving on relevant college and university committees and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years administrative experience, or a high school diploma or GED and eight years administrative experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
