Responsibilities

Flexibility is essential in this role, including occasional weekends and holidays
*
Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience
*
Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals
*
Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal
*
Inform residents what foods are available on the day's menu
*
Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes
*
Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident
*
Keep water glasses and coffee cups and / or carafes filled
*
Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished
*
Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel
*
Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs
*
Other duties as assigned
*
Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
*
Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
