Job Description Summary

The Director of Client Consulting and Solution Experts is responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts, composed of Consultants and Sales Managers, to drive client and product optimization across the TSYS Product Ecosystem for revenue expansion and deepened client engagement opportunities. The team works closely with new and current clients and is responsible for cultivating and delivering business acumen across the assigned product domain; fueled by a data-centric consultative approach that deepens client relationships and drives revenue growth and cardholder satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey.

A successful candidate will enable their team to think and operate like an issuing client that builds and delivers strategic initiatives that optimize both portfolio and product engagement across the payment card lifecycle. This leader is responsible for driving incremental TSYS revenue and high partner value to our clients.

Job Specific Required Skills & Competencies

What Part Will You Play?

  • Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for TSYS Originations, Fraud & Risk products.

  • Lead the team to drive incremental revenue by providing data-centric consultation to align client objectives with TSYS Originations, Fraud, and Risk products & services.

  • Ensure the team has a deep understanding of client portfolio performance & goals and how those link to TSYS Originations, Fraud, and Risk products & services.

  • Develop a framework and repository of business cases, case studies to be used with clients and prospects.

  • Help to lead product packaging, go to market, and sales campaigns.

  • Works with the Customer Success team and leaders to gain an understanding of client vision, portfolio performance, goals, and challenges.

  • Passionate about applying data and analytics to card issuer portfolio data.

  • Possesses relationships with client business owners and key decision makers through continuous engagement opportunities.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to translate strategic objectives into tactical operating models.

  • Deep knowledge of how issuers utilize Originations, Fraud, and Risk products & services and general knowledge of TSYS products & services outside of the assigned domain.

  • Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to teams and business stakeholders.

  • Depth in web technology, data structures, and data visualization to include TSYS products and services technology.

  • Data analysis and visualization skills to help the team bring business cases and opportunities to life.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 10 years relevant experience and/or working knowledge of the issuing and payment card business from both a card issuer perspective as well as a general understanding from the technology and processing side of the business.

    • Consulting or professional services experience in the assigned domain area or applicable/similar experience.

  • Education: MBA or Bachelor's Degree - Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent work experience, such as relevant technical background and/or work product/SME knowledge in lieu of a degree.
