Client Summary: Our client's health system is designed to increase efficiencies and economies of scale; improve quality and outcomes; and expand access to advanced primary, specialty, and ambulatory care services throughout a wide clinical network. The health system includes more than 7,200 physicians, including general practitioners and specialists, and 13 free-standing joint-venue centers.
Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation, and knowledge of Blood Bank.
Must be proficient in the performance of manual differentials, cell counts on body fluids, and urine microscopy.
Must perform Quality control and maintenance procedures as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Education Requirement:
NYS Licensed Medical Technologist
BS Degree in Science
ASCP preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must possess vast knowledge of blood bank procedures, as well as Chemistry, Hematology Proficient in performing manual differentials, and fluid cell count differentials, urine microscopy
Schedule Notes: 12AM-8AM, ALERNATING WEEKENDS, 5 DAYS A WEEK
