The Sales Strategy & Enablement Senior Analyst is part of the Sales Performance & Strategy team, which is responsible for supporting the Cox Automotive sales organization. You will support multiple business units through sales compensation design. This role is pivotal in driving the appropriate sales behaviors while meeting long-term business objectives. It requires an individual who can think strategically to create and manage compensation plans that are motivating, strategic, and aligned with industry best practices. You will communicate with all levels of leaders and stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Compensation strategy and design, such as determining variable pay curves, component weighting, and crediting logic.
  • Tracking of design activities, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and finalizing of any work by assigned deadlines.
  • Collection of data for compensation modeling and relaying of said information to the compensation admin team to assist in plan implementation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales Strategy and Sales leadership teams on enhancements to current plans and on the development of future plans and special incentives.
  • Annual compensation planning, which includes deep dives into our current plans and review meetings with senior leaders.
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and Sales Leadership to create incentive compensation plans that align with company objectives and motivate sales team members to exceed budgetary expectations.
  • Stay current with strategic organizational changes, industry economic outlooks, and compensation best practices to deliver relevant and high-quality incentive compensation plans.

Who You Are/ Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years of experience in finance, compensation administration, HR, or sales operations in a highly analytical environment. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • Self-starter - work independently with minimal direction or oversight.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (nested if statements, x-lookups, Power Query) with the capability of creating dynamic modeling that gives business owners the ability to see what plan change impacts would be in various scenarios.
  • Experience creating clean and informative PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Analyze and research data and partner with appropriate internal resources
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with the ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently.
  • Ability to build strong, trusted working relationships with internal and external business
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills


Preferred:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Experience with sales compensation design and a sales organization
  • Strong qualitative and analytical skills, including manipulating data, querying, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Xactly Incent is a plus.

USD 77,800.00 - 116,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
