Group IT Apprentice - Americas

The role is in Rock Hill, South Carolina at Atlas Copco Group IT's office reporting to the Regional Service Delivery Manager for the Americas.

Role Responsibilities:

Here you get the opportunity for broad and comprehensive insight into several parts within Atlas Copco that will benefit your professional network. You will be challenged and develop both personally and professionally.

In the role, you get to follow the Americas Management team and work closely with Atlas Copco Group IT's management with a dedicated mentor. Here you get the opportunity to run and participate in business-critical projects that are important to Atlas Copco's business and organization. In the long term, there is also the opportunity to run your own projects. Additional focus of this role will be helping to drive our Sustainability mission for Group IT.

Our expectations:

We are looking for individuals currently participating in business management, management information systems, or computer science programs in local universities. It is advantageous if you have some experience with IT related systems and/or a solid interest in IT.

As a person, you are driven and can effectively collaborate with others. You are results-oriented, see opportunities, dare to think in new ways, and can handle changes. Furthermore, you are flexible and excel in building relationships.

As you will be working in a multi-country & cultural environment with customers and colleagues all over the world. You will need to be fluent in both spoken and written English.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance.
  • Majoring in an area of study related to the position.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Possess strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative.
  • Ability to work onsite in our Rock Hill office.
