Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering key competitive insights to optimize sales positioning and strategy, product development, marketing, and service operations. You will need to gather and analyze market and competitive data to identify key strengths and weaknesses of competitors in relation to Infor. You will then use this information to help drive winning positioning and messaging, and product innovation strategies. You will be responsible to proactively maintain both a base of knowledge and a set of materials that will be used across the organization. You will deliver that information in meetings and presentations to varied audiences. The goal is to improve Infor's ability to grow revenue, improve win rate, enhance products, and compete across Service industries. This role will report to the Vice President of Product Management and is a remote, full-time, individual contributor position.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Gather knowledge on our major competitor's products, sales positioning, and corporate strategies at a detailed level.
  • Leverage multiple external and internal sources, including 3rd party research, win/loss data, sales and client interviews, and publicly available material from competitors.
  • Provide an objective perspective on Infor's strengths and weaknesses across healthcare, public sector and services+ industries and products.
  • Translate competitive knowledge into impactful materials, messaging, sales strategies, and product direction.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and service teams to enable company success over competitors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior experience researching and developing competitive intelligence original insights & recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and collaborate with multiple individuals across the organization.
  • The ability to write, present, and effectively contextualize messages to meet different audiences across Infor.
  • Prior project Management experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing competitive intelligence by creating Battlecards, Win/Loss Analysis, Competitor Profiles, Side-by-side comparisons.
  • Familiarity of such industries as Healthcare, Public Sector, Financial and Professional Services.
  • Knowledge of the products, features and positioning of Infor, Oracle, Workday, UKG, SAP, Microsoft.
  • Ability to collaborate across large tech organizations (product, sales, marketing, service).
  • Comfortable doing live presentations to different levels of organizations (Frontline, Management, Sr Management, C-Suite).
  • Knowledge of vendors in the software markets of either ERP, Finance, HCM, WFM, Procurement.
