Strategy & leadership

Education and experience
A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is preferred.
(15-18) years of relevant experience related to design and construction project management of multiple projects with experience leading healthcare projects in Atlanta and/or the greater Southeast.
Experience working with large healthcare systems and a full understanding of project delivery with that type of client.
Experience leading the budget and cost management processes for large-scale healthcare development projects.
Commercial and healthcare construction ground-up development project management experience required with thorough knowledge of site and civil construction.
A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to healthcare and corporate real estate projects.
Ability to lead individuals within a regional healthcare platform to deliver superior results in client service.
Provide technical support; project budgeting and scheduling including Owner's goals & objectives, site improvements, entitlements & permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor/ vendor selection and management, financial management, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports.
Proven business development experience a plus.
Retains excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be professional, responsive, reliable, and exceed customer expectations.

Core job functions
The position is full-time in Atlanta, GA working with project teams and client operations teams.
Management of internal and external team members to lead the development, design, and construction of large-scale healthcare projects.
Develop and lead presentations for steering committees and board meetings.
Analyze bid proposals in detail to determine best costs, materials, and pre-and post-construction services and present to the appropriate signature authority for approval.
Monitor progress and evaluate performance of contractors while overseeing and ensuring all contractual obligations are met and comply with the law.
Oversee maintenance of the pull plan schedule and key milestones. Ensures all construction milestones are up to date. Any deviations from the schedule are communicated weekly with senior leadership and in construction transition/activation meetings.
Provide leadership and oversight of all consultants supporting the construction projects, including but not limited to the client operations teams, medical equipment planner, move/logistics consultants, signage/wayfinding vendors and consultants, and any furniture & fixtures external vendors.
Maintain current knowledge of the State of Georgia CON process, and municipality specific development/construction policies and regulations.
