SUMMARY

Provides facilities management and expertise for our Locust Grove, GA facility. Responsible for overall coordination and management. This includes short range facility planning design, layout, allocation and utilization, maintenance and property services.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and manages facilities maintenance plans to protect value of facility assets.
  • Requests & receives proposals, negotiates terms (with procurement dept.) and prepares contractual agreements (with legal dept.) for facility services. Also manages performance of service providers.
  • Together with location manager, Real Estate Manager, Workplace Manager, and other Facilities Managers, develops short and long term facility management plan for location(s).
  • Coordinates with other Facility Managers to ensure consistency across the enterprise in regards to Codes, insurance req., lease req, etc. Recommends changes or adaptations as appropriate.
  • Selects and develops a high-performing facilities team (including operations & maintenance personnel), as appropriate. Ensures capabilities are deployed to meet changing business needs.
  • Responsible for capital project planning and overall project planning for building(s).
  • Responsible for the development and management of O&M budgets ranging from $200,000 to $2 million.
  • Actively manage, implement, monitor and/or contribute toward programs intended to increase the uptime of assets using IWMS tool. Such programs include, but are not limited to, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Establish a work environment characterized by mutual trust and respect, open and honest communications and teamwork
  • Directly manages Facility Coordinators and Operations & Maintenance associates. May also be responsible for engineering and/or project associates.
  • Responsible for the service level of outside service providers.
  • Influence and motivate employees and service providers.
  • Leads project teams to accomplish facility objectives or development of facility programs/plans.
  • Prepares and presents reports and data, as required, to FMRE Director and to business unit leaders.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 4-year degree in Facilities Management or similar.
  • 5 years experience and increasing responsibilities within Facilities Management.
  • Broad knowledge of facilities operations practices.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead high-profile projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CMMS applications (preference is Archibus).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and internal customer support skills.
  • Strong intervention and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong personnel management skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated budget planning and management skills

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
