All manifested from our 15 locations in the U.S. and our European location in Dusseldorf, Germany. This opening is resident in our Lithia Springs, GA facility.

About the position

We are seeking a Purchaser candidate to coordinate and maintain records of all purchasing activities and vendor sources. Ensure the flow of products and services, deliveries and material supply levels. Oversee orders from the initial request, placing the order, confirming receipt, reconciling credit card payments dashboard or submitting approved invoices for AP payment processing. Working closely with account and project management as well as production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Generate purchase orders in accordance with accepted procedures and practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality products/services ordered are cost effective and meet the required project time frames.

Work with logistics for orders requiring shipping to be arranged for delivery to one of our facilities, project or show site.

  • Handle issues due to service failures, damaged products or returned orders.
  • Review vendor information checking documentation (W9, COI, etc...) are current.
  • Retain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and related documents for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Assist in the reconciliation of purchase orders against payables.
  • Verify receipt and contents of shipments, communicate any issues with delivery schedule to receiving party
  • Work with production to maintain shop stock inventory materials and supplies.
  • Maintain purchase order files.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Non Essential Functions:

  • Maintain sample room
  • Source new vendors, products and services
  • Source new diversity vendors.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the trade show or manufacturing/production/construction industry
  • Working knowledge of exhibit industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a nationwide team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be flexible, effectively prioritize, and multi-task
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude and analytical skills are required for this position
