The Team - Technology Advisory

Work with a team of deeply skilled professionals to transform clients' IT organizations to help them become more effective and efficient, scale rapidly, and advise CIOs, CTOs, and IT leadership in the areas of IT due diligence, IT strategy and planning, IT transformation, technology assessment, IT leadership guidance, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Your Impact

  • Lead large, complex projects through the project life cycle, including requirements definition, planning, development, testing, training, operational readiness, change management and ongoing support.
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive project plans for acquisitions, divestitures, and post-merger technology integration projects.
  • Manage operational and technology assessments and perform comprehensive IT due diligence in support of carve-outs, mergers, or post-close execution management.
  • Work with stakeholder management and business teams to maintain business continuity during ongoing IT platform mergers.
  • Support the entire M&A deal process and ensure timely delivery of IT M&A projects.
  • Articulate the quality and performance of their IT environment, including security
  • Analyze IT costs, identify cost synergies that may arise from deals, and identify IT risks and mitigation plans.
  • Drive the development and/or enhancement of IT M&A methodologies (diligence, planning, carve-outs).
  • Embrace MorganFranklin's client service approach and manage client relationships to ensure that high-quality and high-value services are provided to achieve clients' objectives.
  • Assist with the development and execution of a Program Roadmap including project prioritization and delivery.
  • Educate internal and external audiences on IT Strategy and Governance best practices.
  • Identify, design and implement creative business and technology solutions to continually improve the firm's methodology and approach.
  • Develop thought leadership materials.

Leadership Expectations

  • Our expectation is that you would have prior experience and the ability to lead, guide, coach, and mentor teams.
  • Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.

At a minimum, you will have:

  • 5+ years of IT M&A integration experience including IT Service Delivery.
  • Professional services experience and/or specific relevant industry job experience related to IT project-based work or managing complex operational and/or IT projects related to IT carve-outs and M&A.
  • Experience with IT activities related to infrastructure, security, service management, development, software, risk management and finance.
  • Experience with the IT M&A transaction lifecycle, including 100-day planning, performance improvement, and organization development.
  • Experience developing management reporting, metrics, and formats to monitor and manage value creation initiatives across portfolio companies.
  • Experience developing and leading strategic plans for acquisition targets.
  • Experience designing enterprise technology architecture across various industries, including consolidating network, infrastructure, cyber, data, and application design and decisions for new companies.
  • Experience developing and executing on a technology integration playbook for new acquisitions.
  • Developing M&A programs to enhance acquisition targets.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25%.

Preferably, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or Business Management.
  • One or more of the following certifications: The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Cloud technologies, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Knowledge of and experience in operationalizing IT governance and service delivery models (e.g. ITIL, TOGAF, Agile).
  • Prior experience in an Agile environment or an environment transitioning to Agile.
