Job Description

The Client Manager will be responsible for client satisfaction and engagement through insightful analysis, actionable recommendations, and proactive thought leadership focused on solving the strategic business needs of their stakeholders. The Client Manager's role will include assisting clients with navigating through complex business challenges by providing insightful and actionable recommendations, contributing to overall client satisfaction and engagement, and developing your knowledge of your client's strategic business needs. You may also have responsibility for leading and developing direct reports.

Your success in this role will be driven by:

  • Identifying, diagnosing, and decomposing client business issues
  • Providing insights and recommendations highlighting thought leadership and analytical aptitude
  • Demonstrating leadership of client stakeholders by building strong relationships and increased understanding of their strategic goals and processes
  • Building knowledge of NielsenIQ's tools, data assets, and programs
  • Developing deep industry knowledge and expertise

All client facing associates are part of the commercial and revenue management process. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying opportunities from client meetings and communications, socializing them to the right client leads, and supporting them so we can act on those opportunities. We are always listening to our clients, assessing how we can help, and driving value add through expanding our engagements and services.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to set agendas that drive business impact and maximum client value
  • Leverage NielsenIQ solutions and apply market and industry knowledge to conduct advanced issue-based analyses with clear proactive insights and action oriented recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with adaptability, urgency, and positivity
  • Seek collaborative opportunities, both internally and externally, identifying occasions to enhance a project by working across teams at NielsenIQ
  • Contribute towards achieving overall team revenue goals and operating plan
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities with clients and engage internal resources to drive sales

Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of experience with demonstrated expertise in syndicated data analysis in the FMCG, CPG and Retail industries and application to client-related business issues
  • Experience in client service environment and ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships in complex situations
  • Proven experience contributing to and/or successfully meeting sales revenues and targets
  • Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in a range of software and digital tech
  • Polished, persuasive communication skills with experience in presentations and proposal writing.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
