About the team:

The Banking Solutions segment serves community, regional, and global banks, credit unions and commercial lenders, government institutions, corporations, and more. Its solutions allow our clients to borrow, save, pay and invest, and they range across core processing, digital channels, card and loyalty, fraud and risk management, small business and corporate treasury, wealth and retirement, back office, and more.

What you will be doing:

Join the FIS Banking team as the Head of Delivery, Core Banking Solutions. You will report to our SVP, Division Executive and will be a key member of the Management Team. You will manage strategic planning function including planning and developing long-term goals and strategic objectives to ensure business growth and improve productivity and profitability. This position will work with the team that includes all core banking system.

* This position requires in depth financial services/banking industry experience and will help with solutions, quality, and satisfactions to help with a unified customer experience and oversee governance for our modernization business.

* Identifies, researches and evaluates new business opportunities and market initiatives by analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Tracks competition and identifies threats or opportunities.
* Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and business and/or strategic plans based on company and external data analysis.
* Directs planning and preparation of business proposals and provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
* Ensures policies and procedures align with corporate vision.
* Develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of function.

What you bring:

* Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, finance or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
*Typically requires twelve or more years of related experience with a minimum of five years management responsibility.

* Thorough knowledge of products and services in assigned business operation(s)
* Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business
* General business skills, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
* Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
* Ability to understand and focus on clients needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships with clients
* Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks
* Preferably located in Florida, however will consider other locations

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $192,430.00 - $323,300.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
