Job Summary

Join Fresenius Kabi as a Director, Clinical Implementation Services.

The Director, Clinical Implementation Services is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the Clinical Implementation team. The Director will oversee the management and deployment of clinical implementations through effective leadership of clinical team members. Ensures customer satisfaction through the engagement of clinical team members throughout the customer life cycle.

This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate will live in the Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and directs the Clinical Implementation team to ensure effective implementation of Fresenius Kabi products in customer accounts.
  • Develops/hires staff to deliver the business plan according to established timelines.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members while driving employee engagement; attract and retain team members to meet Fresenius Kabi's current needs and future growth.
  • In collaboration with Sr Leadership, spearheads the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Manages and deploys resources to ensure efficient achievement of objectives; continually measures the effectiveness of all internal and external processes.
  • Establishes, grows, and maintains strategic customer relationships with key executives and decision influencers/makers in all key accounts.
  • Promotes excellence by providing a superior customer experience.
  • Collaborates with internal team members, including pharmacy, technical, and project management.
  • Communicates risks, concerns, and customer issues to Sr Leadership.
  • Ensures the team is providing go-live and post go-live customer facing support on Fresenius Kabi products.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication.
  • Provides sales support to include participating in RFI/RFPs and demonstrations.
  • Creates whitepapers and articles in industry publications as requested.
  • Participates in customer support team activities as needed.
  • Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
  • As part of Top Management, you have the overall responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, including the following:
    • taking overall responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injuries and ill health, the protection of the environment, as well as the provision of safe, harmless, and healthy workplaces,
    • ensuring that the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems' policies and related objectives are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required (master's or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years related experience.
  • 5+ years management experience and/or in a leadership role leading others; Experience leading a clinical team and/or in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Current RN licensure and maintained throughout employment.
  • FDA compliance experience is a plus.
  • Abundant experience working with healthcare customers and providing professional services in clinical environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and show an ability and willingness to multitask and be hands-on.
  • Demonstrated achievement of building strong working relationships with internal departments and external customers.
  • Executive-level communication (verbal/written), organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other database/ERP concepts (i.e., Salesforce.com).
  • Travel is required to attend meetings/trainings/programs/customer visits (up to 40%) and is based on business need (via public transportation: air/auto); may require overnight travel. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must maintain all requirements for access to customer sites, including active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements (may include COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations), in order to perform the essential functions of the role at customer locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
