Overview

Job Purpose

ICE Exchange Data manages licensing and delivery of exchange market data as its sourced from the ICE trading platform, which supports a multitude of futures asset classes. As a member of the Exchange Proprietary Market Data team, the Senior Market Data Specialist will serve a sophisticated customer base (investment banks, proprietary traders, hedge funds, data redistributors, and software vendors) who maintains or seeks access to the ICE's Futures and OTC markets through intraday services, proprietary market reports, daily mark to market settlements, and historical data.

The ideal candidate for this position will have some knowledge or experience in the market data business or financial services industry. They must have a customer-focused mindset, be an effective communicator, and is capable of balancing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, this individual must be collaborative and team-focused with the willingness to take initiative and contribute to the organization's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Market Data Administration and Client Operations - Support a wide range of client types on a global scale, pertaining to ICE Futures technology, market data content and licensing. Gather technical and market data requirements from clients to effectively facilitate their request through the exchange sponsorship or market data entitlement process. Ensure client incidents are resolved with urgency, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary to improve client experience.
  • Product Sales Support and Client Relationship Management - Manage stakeholder relationships with clients and inter-company teams. Support the implementation of business solutions from start to finish. Coordinate efforts with sales teams to meet unique customer and business needs, while upholding data policies and promoting ICE data services.
  • Product Implementation Support - Implement operational efficiencies across data management, business intelligence, and customer onboarding. Schedule required tasks for market data services in response to the launch of new contracts. Collect customer feedback to aid in the enhancement of product characteristics and commercial licensing.

Knowledge and Experience

  • BS in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, or Marketing or equivalent combination of education or experience is required.
  • Adept computer and software literacy preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - is a must. Complex Excel functions, Tableau or other data visualization tools is helpful.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication with a past track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and analysis skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of futures trading, market data, exchanges, technology, or network infrastructure is a plus.

Base Salary Range for New York Candidates

The expected base salary for this role is between 85,000 - 100,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
